Chinese Pancake is not a commonly available hawker food in Penang so you really got to know exactly where to find it. A popular stall, which is my mom’s favorite used to operate along Beach Street. It was so good she would travel all the way to Penang from Sungai Petani just to savour it.

Liquid Highway, Greenville, South Carolina

Liquid Highway in Greenville, South Carolina I’ve become increasingly disenfranchised with big coffee chains, and especially Starbucks. I just feel violated often when I walk out of Starbucks and see how much I paid for coffee. Now don’t get me wrong, I like a good Caramel Frappuccino, but yet again I feel like I have to reach into my retirement fund to pay for one.

Top 5 Attractions in Copenhagen

Copenhagen may lack the instantly recognisable iconic sights that define so many global cities, but this is not necessarily a bad thing. Visitors to many countries nowadays spend their time traipsing from one photo opportunity to another and leave little time to get to know the feel of the city around them. This is not the case in Copenhagen .

Restaurant Chefs don’t need a Doctor’s Note to Cook Pasta

Suddenly out of nowhere a deep throated hack breaks the mood of the dining room. Guests turn their heads in unison towards the kitchen as the sous continues his phlegm filled chorus while plating a perfectly seared Ahi Tuna. With both hands full he has little time to cover his mouth as the Flu that has been stalking for days finally broke through the anti biotic barrier and captured his inner-self.

L’addition: on discrimination

Perhaps as his defenders claim Kentucky’s senatorial candidate Rand Paul is not a racist, but … Even though he says he would have voted for it, it seems unlikely he would enforce the 1964 Civil Rights Act with any vigor. He believes that it should not apply to businesses such as luncheonettes. On the Rachel Maddow show, despite his slippery answers to her queries on this subject, he did reply “Yes” to Maddow’s question of whether a private business should have the right to refuse to serve black people
