This week in the Voice , Our Man Sietsema navigates the menu at inconsistent Anella , while Sarah DiGregorio reckons that Govind Armstrong missed the boat at Table 8 . Bruni found himself wishing for the “opulence” of A Voce dishes, yet still awards Locanda Verde a two-spot, surmising that, despite there “hardly [being] a false step among the cicchetti and antipasti,” Andrew Carmellini hasn’t yet hit his stride. The headline pretty much says it all, but let me elaborate real quick. Did you have that college professor or maybe an annoying uncle who never failed to imply that no matter what you crazy kids did with your technology and rejection of ideologies… that you’d never measure up to what they did in the 60s in the great conversation with history?

I have been in touch with Greg Valou from Metro Vancouver since Vancouver’s first ChangeCamp and a few weeks back, I gave a presentation to their social media working group on why Metro Vancouver (the organization formerly known as the Greater Vancouver Regional District, GVRD) should be using social media. I believe they are moving forward in the right direction.

Though DBTH recently posted about the financial difficulties facing LES burlesque club The Box , it can’t be hurting too badly. The Rocket reports that the club has recently launched a weekly indoor beach night , meaning every single Wednesday the staff builds—and then, at the end of the night, cleans up—a faux beach made from 400 pounds of sand. Seats are covered in beach towels, beach balls and lawn chairs come out, and most vitally, the staff and patrons come dressed for the beach (right).

We’ve looked at Rome’s nightlife more than once, and a holiday to Italy’s liveliest city wouldn’t be complete without a visit to a bar, and while you’re at it, why not choose a distinctive destination? Il Palazzetto is a bar on the Spanish Steps and while it’s not budget, it’s prices are not exorbitant either.

Does anyone have any suggestions for booking a multi leg trip between London to Dehli Dehli to Thailand (koh Samui) and finally Thailand to London I would like to avoid using London to India as my base and flying roundtrip between India and Thailand.

London/India/Thailand multi city ticket question
Hello, First I’d like to say thank you to everybody for posting so many useful questions and answers and information which helps me a lot to prepare my first visit to India! My mum and I are planning a 3-week-round trip starting in Delhi in late October. Our itinerary is not fixed yet but roughly we would like to visit Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Agra, Khajuraho and Varanasi. We would like to travel mostly by train and occassionally take the bus or car+driver where the traintravel makes no sense or is unavailable (like Udaipur-Jodhpur)

One of the favorite parlor games among energy geeks for some time has been trying to figure out just what EEStor is up to. EEStor is the Texas-based company that has been making some very tantalizing claims about their ultracapacitor-based electricity storage units that will eventually be used in EVs. (See the Wiki machine for more on them, their claims, and their supporters/partners.) We now have an interview with Dick Weir, EEStor’s CEO , in which he says: Their contract price with
