Situation Looks Grim for Kolkata Hotel Projects

If the city dreamt of emerging as a hospitality hub, that dream is fast turning ephemeral, with more than half the projects either delayed or close to being shelved. Of the 19 hotel projects that were to begin operations in 2011-12, adding over 5,000 star-category rooms, at least six have been delayed, five put on the backburner and one shelved following reversals that developers faced over the past year. Billionaire beaches in Italy: 500 euros for a spot by the sea

If you wanted to indulge in getting a deck chair, drinking beer and enjoying your own umbrella, Italy’s beaches have a lot to offer. Carla Bruni’s castle up for sale again

Sheik Waleed Al Saud who just a few months ago bought Carla Bruni ’s family castle at Castagneto Po near Turin for more than 17 million euros has now decided to resell the property. Apparently he ’s too busy and can’t even find the time to visit the place! Only God knows what former model and singer Carla Bruni must have thought when last week she visited the castle in Italy with her husband French president Sarkozy in tow! Was she sad at the prospect that her former adobe will probably be converted into luxury flats? Did her memory stray to the Italian summers of her lost childhood
