Considering how many Pinkberry shutters LA has experienced, it’s a bit of a shock to hear that the froyo chain plans to amp up its growth adding new domestic and international units . So far this year Crackberry has opened 25 locations with another 11 scheduled to debut by the end of the year. Sheesh.

Last night Eater popped by Animal for a quick bite and uncovered just the slightest bit of news surrounding Jon Shook and Vinny Dotolo’s new restaurant on Third Street . The pair plan to export some of the Animal staff over to the new eatery, and they are also just beginning to hire employees. So, that means, they are probably about three weeks away from opening.
