Une exposition inédite des portraits d’artistes de 1930 à 1950 sur les quais du métro… Photographe active à partir des années 30 jusqu’en 1975, et décédée en 1999, Denis Bellon a côtoyé de nombreux artistes de son époque (Duchamp, Dali, de Beauvoir, Breton…) et beaucoup voyagé (Europe, Maroc, Tunisie, Finlande, Afrique…) prenant des photos partout sur son chemin, mais étrangement elle n’a pas vraiment été reconnue de son vivant.

A food editor tells Fork in the Road that they are “pretty sure” they saw Harold Dieterle chilling at the papered over restaurant space that was once home to Philippe Chow Express . Dieterle, who was actively searching for a restaurant space as recently as a few months ago, tells the blog he’s not ready to talk.

The Red Hook Lobster Pound, the popular source of lobster rolls in Brooklyn, is expanding its sit-down area by 40 seats in about two weeks . There will be “white walls, shiny metal lamps, ceiling fans, a poured cement floor, and a huge screen door to cover what is currently a tall pull-down metal door — to let the breeze in.” Currently, they just have two benches.
